Root Canals

If a nerve becomes inflamed, a root canal treatment may have to be performed. Root canals remove the inflamed or necrotic nerve, with the tooth restored with a filling, crown or onlay.

Root canals are generally performed over three 1-hour appointments, which includes the nerve removal, the cleaning of the nerve canal and the filling of the nerve canal.
