Commonly known as composite fillings, white fillings are the most popular type of restorative dental treatment. The filling restores teeth that have been damaged by decay or broken.
These aesthetically pleasing fillings are a more discreet restorative option than grey metal amalgam fillings.
White fillings are composed of glass particles suspended in a resin matrix and are available in shades to match the colour of your tooth.
Inlays & Onlays
Inlays and onlays are similar to dental fillings in that they are used to rebuild a tooth that has lost its structure due to damage or decay. Inlays and onlays are fabricated in our dental laboratory and then cemented into place in an indirect procedure.
Inlays fit into the tooth, while onlays sit on top of the remaining tooth structure. This restorative solution can be made from porcelain, gold or a composite material and aim to mimic the natural tooth structure and protect the underlying tooth long term.
A bridge is a permanent fixture to replace one or more missing teeth. It is anchored to the adjacent natural tooth or teeth to bridge the gap where a tooth or teeth is missing. It also prevents the natural teeth from drifting.
Each bridge will be individually handcrafted by our dental technician and will sit comfortably with your bite providing an excellent aesthetic result for a missing tooth.
If a tooth has suffered significant damage it may have to be removed. When this occurs, dental implants can be an excellent and highly effective replacement option.
Dental implants consist of a titanium rod placed into the jawbone to act as a replacement for the root of the natural tooth. The dental implant is custom-made using pure titanium and integrated with the newly formed bone. Once the implant fixture is soundly integrated your new tooth crown is then secured providing an excellent aesthetic solution for the missing space.
Implant assessment and placement is managed in conjunction with a periodontal specialist to ensure results of the highest standards.
